Researching abroad helps students grow in unique specializations that might not be available in the United States, as well as increase their academic and professional network. You could engage in research abroad by working for a faculty member overseas, working for an organization, or coming up with your own research project and applying for an independent study credit. You could potentially do research as part of an existing study abroad program, or pursue a stand-alone program.
