- Talk to a recruiter.
- Look up the geosciences Majors and Minors.
- Read about Cool Jobs for Geoscientists.
- Check out the Freshman FAQ.
- Attend a Recruiting Event on campus or in your city.
- Sign up for a Pre-college Geosciences Camp.
Apply to Texas A&M University
Submit your application through ApplyTexas or The Coalition. Visit the Office of Admissions website to get details information on the required documents, when to apply, and other important information.
Wait
Be patient! The Office of Admissions has a lot of applications to review and this process can take 3 weeks or more. All decisions for spring will be posted by December and fall by late March at HOWDY via the Applicant tab.
Confirm your Acceptance
Use the Now That you're Admitted Checklist to complete all the required steps and paperwork needed to confirm your acceptance into Texas A&M University and the College of Geosciences.
Sign up for a New Student Conference (NSC)
As part of your Now That you're Admitted Checklist, sign up for your New Student Conference. Remember you are required to attend an NSC in order to register for your first semester of classes.
