Faculty in the College of Geosciences represent a panoply of interests and interconnections that creates a unique environment for students. Our faculty excel both as teachers and researchers. Most of our undergraduate lecture courses (92.5%) are taught by tenured or tenure track professors. Students also benefit from a low student to faculty ratio and extensive opportunities to participate in research. The College of Geosciences has one of the largest research programs at Texas A&M.
