Montague-Center for Teaching Excellence Scholar Dr. Jennifer McGuire of the Department of Geology and Geophysics was named a Montague-Center for Teaching Excellence Scholar for 2007-2008. She received her Ph.D. in Environmental Geoscience-Environmental Toxicology from Michigan State University and has been a part of Texas A&M since 2002. Recipients of the award are honored for early-career excellence in undergraduate teaching at Texas A&M University. The award gives a $5,000 grant to each recipient to encourage further development of undergraduate teaching excellence. The luncheon to award the scholars will be held on October 10 in Reed Arena Room 301A. |
