As Dean of the College of Geosciences at Texas A&M University, it is my pleasure to welcome you to our website. The College of Geosciences educates students in the Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology, Geography, Geology & Geophysics, Oceanography, Environmental Geosciences and Water Management and Hydrologic Science. We provide our students the academic foundation and resources needed to become the scientists, educators, technicians, policymakers, and industry leaders who will shape the future of our planet.

By combining the scientific exploration of Earth with its human dimensions, we are developing new understanding of the dynamics that have shaped Earth’s past, present and future. Our three research centers – the Geochemical and Environmental Research Group, Integrated Ocean Drilling Program, and Texas Sea Grant – are essential elements of this scientific exploration and outreach.
